Vintage Amethyst Pyramid Crystal Czechoslovakian Perfume Bottle. Vintage beautiful Amethyst colored pyramid shaped crystal perfume bottle, stands total 6.25 tall. Bottle base is likely Art Deco design, circa 1930s or 1940s, but not sure. Has deep horizontal cuttings surrounding the bottle, along with deep V-shaped cuttings on front and back of bottle. Spear shaped cut crystal stopper has intaglio cut floral design, similar deep V-shaped cuttings at tip of spear and deep crosshatched xs on the sides of the spear. No dauber and not sure if ever had a dauber. Bottle has an illegible old silver foil label with blue writing. Can faintly make out Made in Czechoslovakia, with markings of genuine hand cut crystal, Edward G. With the EWG monogram on sticker. Also found an old advertisement for Aristo Crystal by McCoy, Jones & Company, Merchandise Mart Chicago which shows the bottle advertised. Minor wear and tear chips inside neck of bottle where stopper rests, possible perfume residue or glass sickness inside bottle, 3 minor chips on one side of the bottle. In great condition for its age.
