Vintage Irice Made in Italy Murano Glass Jeweled Flowers Perfume Bottle – Rare. This is a rare and beautiful example of a perfume bottle imported by the Irving W. The green and blue glass bottle was made in Italy and the gold metal filigree top “basket” of leaves and multi-color “jewels” came from West Germany. The bottle measures 6″ high (including the “basket) and weighs a substantial 1 lb. The label on the bottom reads, AN Irice IMPORT / MADE IN ITALY / IRVING W. It is very slightly worn, but still legible. The small gold medallion on the side of the gold “basket” reads, “MADE IN GERMANY WEST”. The glass bottle itself is in excellent condition, with no scratches or nicks or chips. The “basket” has a tiny bend in the gold metal (see third photo). This bottle had perfume in it at one point, as evidenced by the residue in the plastic tube attached to the atomizer/spritzer. The gold metal has darkened around the bottom where it meets the bottle. Best seen in third and last photos. The atomizer is hidden within the leaves and flowers. This “basket” would have been taken off to reveal the spritzer, but it is stuck, perhaps with perfume residue. I will leave that to you if you want to clean it and get it unstuck. This bottle makes an impressive display and will look even more beautiful with proper lighting. Please ask questions prior to purchasing as all sales are final.
