Hello there and welcome! I have here a very beautiful pendant/necklace. This pendant is a perfume bottle and I believe a woman would wear this either around her neck or on a chatelaine (a clasp or chain worn at the waist for holding many items, like perfume or keys or purse). Many times a woman would carry an item called a vinaigrette (a small decorative bottle or container with a perforated top for holding an aromatic preparation). Most all woman carried these bottles of perfume or vinaigrettes. This bottle is 1 1/2″ long and widest point on bottle is 5/8″ or 38mm long and 15mm wide. The bail is another 1/4 longer or 10mm longer. On the bottom of this pendant it is marked 925, some of the markings has worn off, but I think you can see it. The chain is sterling silver and it is marked sterling on the clasp and is 20 long. This pendant has a very beautiful etching all around it and even the very top of it is looks beautiful. The pendant/necklace has an awesome weight of 17.05grams. I believe this pendant to be in the early 1900s.
