Top notes are bergamot, orange and neroli; middle notes are rose, lilly-0f-the-valley, ylang ylang and jasmine; base notes are vetiver, orris root, sandalwood, cumin, vanilla and musk. This bottle of Chanel No. 46 was found at an estate sale. It obviously rested safely in its box for many years and has never been opened. The stopper is firmly in place and the black thread which use to hold a wax dot to indicate sealing is still wrapped around the bottles neck. The bottle itself is undamaged and says Chanel France on the bottom. There is a piece of tape on part of the label. It does not obscure the labels’ writing. The box shows an appropriate amount of age. It is, after all, 73+ years old. The pictures show its wear. It is, however, still very sturdy and useable. Who doesn’t want to own an authentic “piece of Chanel”. Display the bottle and box proudly in your master bathroom, dressing room or within a display of other Chanel accessories.
