Very Rare Vintage 1930’/40’s Gump’s Fern Lei Wooden Hawaiian Perfume Bottle. Gump’s, renown for it’s fine works of all Hawaiian arts in the 30’s-40’s, had among it’s art, hand carved perfume falcons from Hawaiian wood by master Swiss wood carver Fritz Abplanalp. Fabulous original condition and finish. No cracks or repairs. Points on fine wood work are intact, there are some marks consistant with age and wear. Bottle top easily screws on and off. Perfume is empty but there is still a strong residual aroma of tropical gardenia blossoms. Rare opportunity to own a Gump’s signature stylish “Fern Lei”. 4 1/4″ tall and 2″ at its widest.
