JEAN PATOU Paris MOMENT SUPREME EXTRAIT Vintage 1930s 1/3oz (10ml). An astonishing rare original first release vintage Extrait dated to the 1930s, created by Henri Almeras & released onto the world in 1929. I have no idea whatsoever if this has turned, but it needs a new home. The bottle is immaculate & stands at 8.2cm (3.2), with its pair of golden stickers, JEAN PATOU in relief to base, & I believe the shadow of a Baccarat round mark to base, tightly sealed with original immaculate Baudruchage onionskin & cord, & has never been out of the box. The color of this parfum against the light beggars belief, but please view the very sad state of the front of the box, part of my house flooded a few years ago & the box became damp, it is in such a sorry state, resembling ancient marble that it is almost beautiful My ex husband used to deal in vintage film posters, & was told that the paper on the face of the box could be restored/replaced, but I have no time to look into it. The level in the bottle is near enough as to how it should be, for this was designed to lay at an angle in its box, (I have forgotten to take photos & will take care of this within the next few days), so the bottle is set at an angle in the box so the parfum does not reach the lip of the bottle so would never leak, I doubt you will ever see another similar box, the stopper having an integral glass dabber, the base trim of the box has been highlighted in what looks like gold leaf, the setting for the bottle being flocked.
