This wonderful, and hard to find, vintage presentation is by Coty – c. It has a semi rigid plastic cover decorated with snowflakes. Inside is a doll, all dressed in orange corduroy, a hat and carrying a soft, white hand muff – inside which is a small, glass perfume purse bottle for the Coty L’Origan perfume, She is standing on a soft, unused lambs wool powder puff – I did not attempt to remove her from the puff as her feet are attached so it doesn’t stand up completely straight on the soft puff. Her arms and legs do move and her hands are intact. The pretty little corduroy coat is all intact with no holes or damage, as is her hat and muff. The little perfume bottle has a floral embossed pattern on the glass. It has a perfect label on the bottom. All of this is standing atop an unused box of L’Origan “Air Spun” powder by Coty. The box has the Lalique designed powder puffs and is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains. The doll measures about 7″ in height and, standing on the puff, about 8″ in height. The outer semi rigid acrylic/plastic cover has some aging and some indentations in the plastic. But it is sturdy and intact. The cover of the sleeve has some age darkening and one section of the cover is separated from the edge of the cover. It is so clean, I think it must have been kept in this original container for most of its life. It is really a nice piece in excellent, vintage condition.
