Rare 1930s Perfume Tester Display Rack. The five Parfums de Raymond perfumes are: Gardenia; Mimzy; Camelia; Pinx; and Deviltry. The fragrance is very strong. No cracks or chips. Rack measures 5.5″ long and 3.5″ high. Front to back is 3. The black base is hard, thick plastic, with gold lettering. There are minor signs of wear and age and some scratches on the black base, that can be seen in the photos. The rest of the rack is made of metal. The deterioration of the finish on the metal can be seen in the photos. The square bottles are made of glass. All the bottles have their original paper labels. The labels show some deterioration, and there are some frayed edges and corners. All the glass stoppers have their wands intact. Three of the stoppers can be turned easily and lifted out. I was not able to turn the other two. On the back of the rack, there are two screws that keep the metal part attached to the black base. One of the screws protrudes farther than it is supposed to. It is extremely tight, so I have not been able to turn it in either direction. It cannot be seen from the front. The only practical effect is that, if the screw is tight, the rack cannot be dis-assembled. On the bottom of the rack, one of the felt disks is missing. Smoke free and pet free.
