VINTAGE VANITY SET: MATCHING SET OF TWO (2) BRASS and GLASS ORNATE ROSE PERFUME BOTTLES with ONE (1) SOLID BRASS MIRROR TRAY, CIRCA UNKNOWN, MAKER UNKNOWN PERFUME BOTTLES are a matching set of solid brass and very heavy glass, 7-3/4″ high, 4-1/4″ wide, 2-3/4 deep. When you take them apart, the bottoms (without the stoppers) are 4-3/4″ tall and the stoppers are 6″ (3″ brass and 3″ glass pieces). The glass stoppers of both are in perfect pristine condition and set firmly into the bottle openings (if you find wiggle room with either, then you need to switch the tops to their correct bottoms). Tops are decorated with thick ornate roses, leaves, and stems on both fronts and backs. Bottoms are footed (4 each) and their overall filagree design is laden with ornate heavy roses, leaves, and stems on the fronts only. Glass bottles inside the bottoms are in a layered design and very heavy. Each bottle weighs 1 lb. No visible markings or brand. These are in absolutely fabulous and very beautiful vintage condition with natural patina! I’ve tried searching for this set online for more information, but have not been able to find it. TRAY is solid brass 17″ side to side x 8-1/4″ front to back x 1/2″ high (3/4″ high at ornate rise) with intricate flowers, leaves, and feathers designed in the brass on each side. Still has the original black velvet/cordoroy fabric underneath the tray with some wear around the outside edges, including a 3/16″ x 1/16″ spot. Worn through to the wood base. All 8 of the brass pins are firmly in place (none missing). As would be expected with a vintage mirror, there are some light scratches over the surface, the most prominent being 3/16 which does not take away from the beauty of this mirror. No chips or cracks. No dark, foggy, white or dull areas. Weight is 1 lb. Marked: 15 (underneath the brass on both sides). Overall it’s in beautiful vintage condition! Lots of photos for your discernment.
