Pair (2) Vintage 1930’s Czechoslavakian Filigree Porelain Portrait Perfume Bottles. These are a pair of two Czechoslavakian filigree porcelain portrait miniature perfume bottles with enameling and coral & blue bead accents. There is a porcelain miniature portrait transfer painting of a romantic courting couple in period clothing on the fronts of each bottle. Gold tone metal filigree wreaths with white enamel leaves and coral beads (blue beads on the 2nd bottle) frame the plaques. A gold tone metal filigree band encircles the outer bottle. The screw on stopper cap has an openwork brass openwork decoration with a small brass plaque on the side of each plaque with Czecholavakia in embossed raised lettering. Each cap has a glass perfume applicator wand attached to the underside of the cap. A beautiful transfer/painted porcelain portrait of a period lady is set in a sawtooth prong bezzel. These bottles have flat back areas meant to be laid down on a vanity table to tray. Condition: The cap on the coral bead bottle is attached and too hard for me to remove. I did not try to soak it to see if it would loosen. There is oxidation on this bottle cap area and a little on the other bottle with the blue beads. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. Some of the white enameling on the leaves has worn off and one of the small blue beads on the left has a small crack that is hard to notice.
