In 1933, Guerlain dedicated a perfume to Consuelo de Saint Exupéry, the French aviator and author’s wife, and named it after her husband’s second autobiographical novel. “Vol de Nuit” (Night Flight). It is rumoured that Jacques Guerlain, a very good friend of the aviator, acted upon Saint Exupéry’s request in order to mend the couple’s relationship which was not going well due to mutual and public infidelities. The bottle was designed by Baccarat, the gold colored label could be a little less funky and finally this bottle is empty. Dear Valued Customer and Guest.
