VTG GUERLAIN EAU DE COLOGNE IMPERIALE BEES PERFUME BOTTLE. This is the largest bee bottle for Guerlain. Bottle is 12 inches tall and has a diameter of 5 inches. Bottle does not retain original label but is marked GUERLAIN on bottom. Glass has no chips, cracks, or repair. Bottle had Listerine kept in it, so there are some white sugar deposits inside bottle. Originally created for the Empress Eugenie wife of Napoleon III. The bottle bears the Napoleonic 18 kt gilded bees which were the symbols of the French Empire at the time. It is in excellent condition. All embossed bees have full 18 kt gold with an equally excellent beehive stopper. This bottle is empty having no perfume. These large oversize bottles are rare and hard to find in this fine condition. I believe it’s over 50 years old. I carefully package every product I sell. Buyers Located In The State of Georgia.
