Palais Royal French Kingwood Three Scent Perfume Bottle Casket 19th Century. Beautiful casket veneered with kingwood and inlaid with fruitwood and mother of pearl. Silk lined lid and the three scent bottles are exquisite with gilt ormolu mounts and hand painted lids depicting flowers. On the base is a 20th C retail label and some felt pads. One internal glass stopper is missing and the card interior on one bottle slip is missing also there are some small tears in the silk of the lid where the bottle lids touch. I note these defects for completeness. These minor defects do not in any way detract from the beauty and desirability of this item. The three scent bottles and ormolu mounts are in perfect condition.
