Novelty English antique sterling silver combination vinaigrette and scent bottle modeled as a hunting horn, fully hallmarked from London in 1871 with the makers mark being that of Sampson Mordan. Super clean on the outside, grill and lid inside show some tarnishing. The narrow end unscrews and was for perfume. There is the odd small dink none of which is drastic and overall a very good clean example from a maker of note. Measures approx 108mm, the vinaigrette lid measures 36mm across.
