Absolutely STUNNING Victorian perfume or snuff bottle. The stone is maybe a garnet or glass. I would guess that the loop on the top is a low gold and the bottle itself is probably gold filled. It’s unsigned, I haven’t attempted to clean it, I try to avoid cleaning older items incase of damage. Weighs a little over 4.5 grams. In amazing condition for its age! See photos for details.

Vintage Gabilla Empty Perfume Bottle, Probably Mon Cheri But has Torn Label. It has a torn paper label, but I believe the fragrance name is Mon Cheri. I found on the web that Gabilla was founded in 1910, in Paris, France. Mon Cheri translates to My Sweet One or My Darling. This fragrance launched Gabilla to famous renown, and 86 fragrances were created in this French luxury house. The underside has embossed in block letters. The condition of this clear glass bottle is excellent. I would describe this bottle as having a medium neck and flowing out to a 3 paneled front and back dress skirt like look. The clear glass and opaque stopper top has a very ornate Gabilla written in the 6 sided glass stopper. The glass stopper lifts out of and into the bottle neck easily. The colored paper label has lost some of the blue font that forms the name and maker (Mon Cheri, Gabillia). I don’t know if the letters have been worn off or were scratched. The bottom front of the bottle also displays a small brown square paper label that reads: Made in France. The height of this bottle is: about 4 ½ inches tall. Available today is this exceptional, vintage 1970s (circa 1976 relaunch), made in France, original and authentic, Essence Rare parfum splash in a 0.5 oz (15ml) size by Houbigant, housed in the iconic “melting icicle” flacon and accompanied by both the inner presentation box and the original outer retail box. Houbigant Paris attribution (Reference Number: 1004). Photos were taken at high magnification to best highlight overall item condition. This bottle represents the desirable second-generation Essence Rare from the 1976 revival period. The sculptural “melting icicle” flacon is one of Houbigant’s most recognizable designs and is increasingly difficult to locate with complete packaging, particularly examples retaining both boxes. Bottle glass is clean and clear with no chips or cracks observed. Label is intact and well-preserved. Both inner presentation box and outer retail box are included and show light age-appropriate wear. Overall presentation remains strong and highly display-worthy. VINTAGE VANITY SET: MATCHING SET OF TWO (2) BRASS and GLASS ORNATE ROSE PERFUME BOTTLES with ONE (1) SOLID BRASS MIRROR TRAY, CIRCA UNKNOWN, MAKER UNKNOWN PERFUME BOTTLES are a matching set of solid brass and very heavy glass, 7-3/4″ high, 4-1/4″ wide, 2-3/4 deep. When you take them apart, the bottoms (without the stoppers) are 4-3/4″ tall and the stoppers are 6″ (3″ brass and 3″ glass pieces). The glass stoppers of both are in perfect pristine condition and set firmly into the bottle openings (if you find wiggle room with either, then you need to switch the tops to their correct bottoms). Tops are decorated with thick ornate roses, leaves, and stems on both fronts and backs. Bottoms are footed (4 each) and their overall filagree design is laden with ornate heavy roses, leaves, and stems on the fronts only. Glass bottles inside the bottoms are in a layered design and very heavy. Each bottle weighs 1 lb. No visible markings or brand. These are in absolutely fabulous and very beautiful vintage condition with natural patina! I’ve tried searching for this set online for more information, but have not been able to find it. TRAY is solid brass 17″ side to side x 8-1/4″ front to back x 1/2″ high (3/4″ high at ornate rise) with intricate flowers, leaves, and feathers designed in the brass on each side. Still has the original black velvet/cordoroy fabric underneath the tray with some wear around the outside edges, including a 3/16″ x 1/16″ spot. Worn through to the wood base. All 8 of the brass pins are firmly in place (none missing). As would be expected with a vintage mirror, there are some light scratches over the surface, the most prominent being 3/16 which does not take away from the beauty of this mirror. No chips or cracks. No dark, foggy, white or dull areas. Weight is 1 lb. Marked: 15 (underneath the brass on both sides). Overall it’s in beautiful vintage condition! Lots of photos for your discernment.
