CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT WITH NO IMPERFECTIONS TO THE BOTTLE OR THE STOPPER THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DETECT. A RARE PIECE MADE BY FENTON FROM THE LATE 1940s TO 1949. WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION. IT MEASURES 4-1/2 TALL WITH THE STOPPER IN PLACE AND 3-1/4′ WIDE AT THE WIDEST PART. MEASURES 4-1/4″ TALL WITH THE STOPPER IN PLACE, AND 3-1/4″ WIDE AT THE WIDEST PART. FROM A SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT. This Soviet-era Bohemian perfume bottle features a luxurious and elegant design, characteristic of mid-20th-century decorative glass. Key Features of the Style and Design. Materials: Transparent glass with gilded metal elements and colored enamel. Ornamentation: The bottle is adorned with a gilded metal framework forming a delicate lattice pattern, decorated with floral motifs. Stones and Enamel: The central decorative element is a large, faceted green stone resembling an emerald, surrounded by smaller green embellishments. White enamel flowers add a touch of elegance. Cap: A metal screw cap with intricate engravings, complementing the bottle’s luxurious aesthetic. This design was typical of Bohemian glass, especially for export pieces created for the luxury market. The combination of gilding, enamel, and colored embellishments reflects European jewelry traditions that influenced Soviet-era decorative craftsmanship.
