This rare mid 19th century Continental chatelaine perfume/scent bottle is decorated with an elaborate scroll & floral motif supporting the mystical face of a horned deity. The oval crystal bottle is embellished with nickel plating over brass metalwork & is suspended on a chain attachment. A hinged lid cover is designed with similar metalwork. The piece features the original stopper. There are no chips &/or clouding in the glass. The metal decoration is in very good condition with only some of the nickel plating worn away from the underlying brass metalwork. Perfume chatelaine accessories such as this are highly collectible. A great find for someone collecting perfume/scent collectibles! 4″ long X 1 7/8″ wide X 3/4 deep. Bottle alone is 2 3/8 long.
