Vintage Lucien Lelong, Mon Image Perfume Bottle w Label & Box Circa 1933, Empty. Also included is the matching box. This fragrance was introduced in 1933. The box is a square, with the lid coming off easily to reveal a square base that holds the bottle. There may be some materials absent that would hold the bottle in place. The condition of the box is good to fair. There are some teeny dirt marks on the box top and sides, and a tear on the backside corner of the box. But considering the age, it is still remarkable that the box exists. Height of the box is 4 inches. The glass of this bottle is clear, and the bottle appears to have had 4 chunky squares stacked on top of one another. The gold foil label is in fair condition with damage to the paper and black font. There is a second paper label under the gold foil which is a soiled paper listing fragrance name and that this was made in France. The corners of each square have a flat edged. The underside of the bottle is beautifully polished. The overcap is a larger design of the individual squares. The center is frosted and has the LL (for the Lucien Lelong logo). The overcap comes off easily and has a stopper inside the overcap that fits into the bottle neck. Height of the bottle is: 3 ½ inches. Get images that make Supersized seem small. The “Helene” perfume by Lalique France. These bottles were made in France from 1942 to 1947. There were three sizes made, one very low, one as the one on sale here and a larger size with double rows of the figures. This one is in very good condition, with very minor bottom scratches from use. Dimensions: 5 1/4 inches tall x 4 inches wide.

This vintage gilded perfume bottle by Houbigant France is a true gem for collectors of vanity, perfume, and shaving items. Made of Baccarat fine glass, this bottle is a testament to the craftsmanship of French artisans in the 1920s. The handmade details of this piece are evident in its intricate design, which features a beautiful bottle shape with glass stopper/applicator, and golden gilding. 8″ tall / 3″ diameter. Limited production and has a Hand etched golden number on bottom of bottle and stopper. This bottle is #122. The Houbigant brand is synonymous with luxury, and the Baccarat craftsmanship is known in the industry as top tier, and this bottle is no exception. Its age and history make it a unique addition to any collection. Or you can put your favorite perfume inside and use it as intended. Very small “flea” chip and 2 faint scratches on bottom side of stopper, which can’t be seen unless you remove the stopper and inspect it. A small dot of discoloration (black speck) on top of the gilded stopper, but isn’t noticeable until inspected very closely. Truly in excellent condition. A beautiful 1920’s French collectible.

Vintage Souvenir Perfume Bottle Circa 1885, w Cased Picture of Notre-Dame Paris. It has a cased picture of Notre-Dame Paris in the lid. Notre-Dame is a very old Catholic Cathedral in Paris, France that is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The web spoke to the fact that this building is the finest example of French Gothic architecture. Considering the age of this perfume bottle its condition is not bad. The bottle is a square glass bottle, with a brass neck that is very decorative with prongs. The bottle top is attached by a hinge to the neck portion. The top of the lid has the cased glass picture of Norte-Dame in the Paris, France background. There is some MOP in some of the glass windows. There is a small glass stopper in the bottle neck, I don’t know if it is original, or if it has been replaced over the years, but it does appear to be stuck. I cannot move it. The lid closes with a nice snap, when you push it closed. The underside of the bottle is polished, but now has a number of scratches on it due to its age. In looking closely at the underside, it has had some glass repair made to the right and particularly the left side. There is also a teeny pinprick in the upper right-hand corner of the underside. The left side of the underside feels smooth, but when you look closely, the repair went over the edge, and there appears to still be a small interior nick. I don’t think this will hurt or ruin the bottle, but I want to make the new owner aware of this condition. The height of the bottle is: about 2 1/8 inches. VERY VERY VERY RARE!!! Bottle is about 85% full, unsealed. NO LOWBALL OFFERS PLEASE. Size- 2.5″ x 4.5″. Let’s start at the beginning when the earliest version of this bottle started showing up. Our first introduction of this bottle was in 1925 for various perfumers and produced by the BTCIC Glassworks, in the 1930s it was used for the perfume Adoree by Eroy in the 1930s. Then in 1939 it was again used for a different perfumes, Sequoia by Rene Pierre (also known as Pierre Dune), Je’nose by Caray, J’Ose by de Mareze, Jolie Marquise by Molines in 1935, Mademoiselle Pigalle by HF Sorel. These early bottles have the female figure as the stopper, sitting on a cushion. The inspiration for this perfume bottle was the actress Gaby Deslys, a famous flambouyantly costumed dancer and courtesan of the early 20th century of Marseilles, France. VINTAGE LALIQUE LUYTIES FRIVOLE PERFUME BOTTLE. Frosted fish scale design. Copper medallion reads, ” Frivole Luyties Paris – New York” 7.0 tall. This is a beautiful and very rare old Luyties Frivole perfume bottle with the perfume. It is in great condition with very little wear to the surface of the crystal. The stopper is firmly in the bottle and I did not try very hard to remove it. If the perfume bottle is not sealed, it will be listed as used regardless if used or not. I do my best to secure bottles to prevent leakage however it is possible that perfume may still leak in transit.
