Antique Vintage Compact Vanity Perfume Bottle Dance Purse Necessaire Minaudiere. A ball clasp secures the contents. Inside, is a mirror, two coin holders, perfume bottle, rouge, powder and a lipstick holder. The lipstick may have been complete at one time but now only the bottom portion is present. The sides re not the same and both sides are pictured. This compact or dance purse measures about 3 by 2 by 3/4s of an inch 7 by 5 by 1.75th cm. The chain has a drop of about 5.5 inches 14 cm. Condition is very nice vintage with a few age spots here and there but lovely. The coin was in the purse when I bought it so I left it there. See my Purses here. Your 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. On offer, a lovely Austrian antique combination chatelaine compact/perfumer in the most gorgeous cobalt blue enamel over guilloche Sterling silver. Center is carved with floral motif. Perfume lid screws off to reveal internal dauber. Measures 2.75″ tall with lid, 5.25″ with chain, 1 2/3 across. 25 thick and weighs 62 grams. Condition: Compact portion has broken hinge, which is an easy fix for a jeweler. The center carving has been slightly dented. Loss to enamel in several small areas. This piece is worthy of sending for repair. There is a wonderful enamel repair artist in California whose work is extraordinary and affordable.
