ANTIQUE DEEP GREEN AND SOLID SILVER TOP HINGED PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE WITH STOPPER. This is a lovely Victorian cut glass perfume scent bottle with solid silver hinged lid and stopper. It measures 6 cms high and 3.2 cms base diameter. The glass is a lovely deep green with a star cut base design, and the bottle has a really lovely tactile feel , heavy and well made. It is in very good condition , no cracks or fractures to the body of this very attractive bottle. The original glass stopper is present and has no chips or cracks. The silver lid with intricate design has no splits, repairs or holes and any indentations in photos are the deep cut pattern only. No marks but this is not unusual for these bottles, fully tested as silver. No issues to report , I have only lightly cleaned it for the photos. A lovely example that stands well for display. This is a fairly modern – vintage moulded double end scent bottle….. It has a seam thru the screw neck… The metal ends are vintage as well. This is a really nice double ended scent / perfume bottle that is made from one half dark blue glass and one half a light blue glass. Both lids are screw off and both have a floral pattern on the ends. No stoppers included as this bottle never had ground glass stoppers to start off with.. The screw top has cork on the underside and it keeps the liquid in place from the tight fit. No maker’s marks or metal marks. No damage from what I can see but there is some surface scuffing. Please see pictures for more details. 4 and 3/4 inches long and approx. 7/8 of an inch wide. Dates to about the 1950-70’s I would say. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter. MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS. In the title or description it means.
