Antique Dorflinger Cut Glass Cologne Bottle. With Rare Ornate Sterling Stopper. This is a rare Dorflinger bulbous cut glass bottle, clear, flashed in green. And cut overall in the Marlborough pattern. There are two small bruises on the bottom of the piece that are too small to photograph. While most of these bottles have cut glass stoppers, we believe the sterling one to both rare and original. The silver is marked “Dorflinger” on the neck of the stopper. The piece measures 4 7/8″ tall without the stopper and 4 1/2″ wide. The stopper is approx. 3″ tall and 2″ wide. The stopper has small chips and two dents in the silver which we have tried to show in the photos. Please let us know if you have questions. Thank you for taking a look at this rare piece. Beautiful Vintage Antique Cranberry Cut to Clear Vanity Perfume Scent Cologne Bottle. This is quality; a beautiful, bright and sparkling piece! Rich Cranberry coloring cut to clear, good clarity and brilliance. There are wear/use marks that commensurate with its age on the perimeter of the bottom. The atomizer top is missing. There are so many people now who do that kind of work. My mom and I looked and looked for the right atomizer in Estate Sales, Flea Markets and Yard Sales to no Avail. There are no chips, a very small nick on the top edge of bottle shown in pictures, no cracks. The bottle is unsigned, but is a Quality Piece. One similar was shown on the cover of “A Guide to Sandwich Glass”. It is either Baccarat or Dorflinger. Height is approx: 4 3/4. Width across the bottom is approx: 2 1/4. Rich Cranberry Pink coloring cut to clear, good clarity and brilliance. There are wear/use marks commensurate with its age on the perimeter of the bottom. There is no residue, it is bright and clear. The stopper looks like it was re-polished on the lower section, there are no chips, no nicks, no cracks to either piece. The bottle is unsigned but is numbered 30 on the bottom, the coinciding number on the stopper may have been polished off but it appears to be the original based on its snug/stable fit and color. Height is approx: 7-7/8 to the top of the stopper. Width across the bottom is approx: 3-7/8. Weighs approx: 2 lbs. A wonderful piece to add to any collection or to your dresser or bathroom decor!
