Novelty English antique sterling silver combination vinaigrette and scent bottle modeled as a hunting horn, fully hallmarked from London in 1871 with the makers mark being that of Sampson Mordan. Super clean on the outside, grill and lid inside show some tarnishing. The narrow end unscrews and was for perfume. There is the odd small dink none of which is drastic and overall a very good clean example from a maker of note. Measures approx 108mm, the vinaigrette lid measures 36mm across. This is a wonderful condition and very rare design matching pair Czech cut crystal horn style perfume bottles. They are 4 1/2 inches in height and 8.5 inches long with top/stopper. The long dabber is original and not added. One base is like new and the other has a small flea bite (see last pic). Please let me know at any time if you have a question or issue.
