This beautiful Richard Hudnut blue Le Soiree perfume bottle is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just tiny flea bites on the bottom of the stopper where it meets the lip of the bottle and one teeny nibble on the lip (absolutely does not detract). The bottle is 4 1/2″ tall and 2″ wide. It dates to 1926 and was made by Baccarat as evidenced by the highest quality workmanship. Acid etched on the bottom with the Baccarat mark and Bottle Made in France. Just a lovely seldom seen perfume for the collector. Refer to the pictures to further assess condition. LOT OF 2 Richard Hutnut Empty Perfume Bottles. The perfume bottles have originated from Carroll’s Perfume Co. A notable wholesaler that operated out of Buffalo, NY. Carroll’s Perfume Co. Was known for its “Cut-Rate” perfumes, toilet waters, and cosmetics, offering both foreign and domestic fragrance products. They represented a range of well-known brands Richard Hudnut. In addition to their main headquarters, Carroll’s operated a store in Springfield, Massachusetts. This location, along with others, contributed to their extensive distribution network. Your bulk bottles, dating from the mid-1930s to the early 1940s, reflect a period when Carroll’s was a major player in the perfume industry. These bottles were used to hold concentrated parfum, which was then decanted into smaller dram-sized bottles for retail. The stopper is uranium glass, the bottle is normal, clear glass. Both the stopper and bottle have spots of gold gilding as shown. The entire piece is a bit over 2″ high; the stopper is approximately 1/2″ high not including the portion that sits inside the bottle. The bottle has some interior residue from having been used for perfume. There are no chips or cracks. Some light general wear from age and use – a few minor scratches, spots, scuffs, etc, please see photos.

Here is a hard-to-find vintage Le Debut Bleu perfume bottle by Richard Hudnut, Paris, France. The miniature bottle is made of blue-colored faceted glass. The glass stopper has a molded matte silver-colored decorative top. There is a silver and black label on one facet which reads: Le Debut Bleu, Richard Hudnut, Paris. The label on the base is also silver with black lettering and reads Le Debut Bleu, Made and Finished in France. The bottle stands 2″ tall (including the stopper), and is 1 7/8″ across at the widest point. Bottle is empty of contents. Dates to the 1920’s. Condition: Very good minus used condition coming from a smoke-free environment. No cracks on the blue glass. Bottle opening edge is slightly rough and may have a tiny flea-sized chip (not sure if the edge is only rough or if there is a little chip). Light wear to upper label. Much surface wear to base label. Stopper works well, however the silver-colored cover material has chips and a some loss along the bottom edges — please see photo. No contents in the bottle. This sumptuous 1927 bottle by Richard Hudnut once held the fragrance Le Debut Noir. The bottle was produced by Cristalleries de Nancy. It still has its label on the bottom and is 2 1/4″ tall (including gilt stopper) and 2 1/4″ wide. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is the slightest very shallow flake on the lip where the stopper meets the bottle and a teeny tiny flea bite on one of the panels (the camera couldn’t even focus on it). The opaque black glass is glossy and shiny (it was a little dusty when I photographed it, and I have since cleaned it). Refer to the pictures to further assess condition.
