Sterling Silver & Glass Lachrymatory Tear Catcher / Chatelaine Perfume Bottle Vintage. This is a vintage tear catcher or lachrymatory glass vial. Could have been a perfume bottle. It has a repousse sterling silver top and a ring for attaching to a chatelaine or neck chain. The cap is marked sterling and has a floral design. The perfume bottle is 3-3/4 inches in length. With the silver top, the piece measures 4-3/8 inches in length. The glass is in very good age-related condition with a small chip on the very bottom and several small scratches throughout. Overall, it is a clean piece! The silver top as several dents and some tarnish. We will let the new owner take care of polishing, if desired. Vermont Eye Candys fine print.
