Antique actually, from 1929 D’Orsay “LeDandy” perfume…. Glass Baccarat style bottle from Cristal Nancy, France. One ounce, (according to their website) and at half full! See pic with paper test strip with fluid marking, and marking on bottle, which I will wipe off. Glass bottle and stopper are in mint condition, label has barely there wear. Much of the original metal neck wrap is missing, but some still remains on the stopper, and the bottle. The fragrance smells great to me, although I know this is subjective. Very nice collectible, and super hard to find with so much perfume still inside!! This includes APO/AE/, etc. Non payers are not cool :-o. This elongated oval Daum Nancy scent bottle has a sterling silver top and base. It’s a beautiful laydown bottle, six (6) inches long, and one (1) inch wide. Red flowers surrounded by a pink background and shades of green for leaves and stems, which are accented under a clear sky. The sterling silver top has a maker’s mark and the thimble like bottom is decorated with additional vines, leaves and flowers. The bottom also has engraved artwork, inscriptions or a drawing. This lovely bottle is very rare and would have been made between 1921 and 1934, when Cristalleries de Nancy closed shop. The bottle would have held one of Guerlains perfumes and is called the “Lyre” bottle. Sources indicate that it would have held one of these scents: Candide Effluve, A Travers Champs, or Guerlinade by Guerlian. The stopper and the bottom of the bottle are both numbered 60. The round Cristal Nancy acid stamp on the bottom is VERY faint and almost gone. In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It measures approximately 5 tall x 2 5/8 wide x 1-3/8 deep. Original patina, no chips, breaks, etc. Some very slight, surface scratches on bottom of base. Some of the black etching is worn off the engraving of the name “Toujours Fidele D’ Orsay”. Box top dome shows heavy wear, otherwise box in good vintage condition with partial splits at two front seams. Cristal Nancy was then acquired by Baccarat, and this specific mark was no longer used. Cristal Nancy closed its doors in 1931 and was acquired by Baccarat at that time, so if your bottle is marked with the Cristal Nancy logo, your bottle was made between 1925 and 1931.
