Stunning cut glass round perfume bottle by Irice Imports. Made in Western Germany and has original sticker on base. The bottle is made of beautiful alexandrite (neodymium) glass that changes color from a warm red purple to a cool blue purple depending on the lighting. It also can appear more or less saturated in different lighting conditions. Really a cool piece! Please view some of the color variations in the photos. The glass bottle is accented my gold-tone metal roses that make up the lid. This portion screws apart, and is marked on the bottom Made in Germany West. The bottle is in mint condition and with no damage. To me it appears to have been used for display only, not perfume. The gold roses are also in excellent condition with only minor wear to the gold from age. Total height is 4.75, including gold rose lid. Glass bottle itself is approx. 2.5″ tall x 2.25″ wide.

The Vintage West Germany Irving W Rice Irice Perfume Bottle is a collectible item handmade in Germany. This neodymium glass perfume bottle with atomizer features a unique design by Irving W. Rice & Co, making it a special addition to any collection of decorative glass or crystal items. Beautiful beveled edges to protect the piece. Its vintage charm and craftsmanship make it a valuable piece for those interested in perfumes and vanity accessories. The neodymium chemical compound in the glass makes it glow bright pink under both 365 and 395 UV blacklight. A few flea bites to the edges as shown in close up photos though they’re hard to photograph because they are so tiny. Not noticeable unless really inspecting the piece. Original label intact to the base. No other chips, cracks, flea bites, or water stains.

Ight violet shade (so called neodymium – alexandrite) can change its nuance from. Lightly violet to lightly blue in artificial light.
