Condition: Excellent-Pre-owned, used condition, this piece is beautiful and oh so rare to find the oval shaped with inside Angel-Cherub. There are absolutely NO chips, cracks or damage to the vessel or the dauber. There is some dust/dirt in the interior bottom. The glass on front and back are beveled. Very sweet antique Art Nouveau silver plate chatelaine snuff or pill box with hinged lid, depicting a flower on the lid with a smooth underside / body of the box. I use a similar one to carry a chunk of shea butter hand balm lotion in my purse. Lovely, period appropriate Victorian design would make a neat collectible item that can be used on a daily basis – an antique gift for yourself or a friend! NO MONOGRAMS on the piece. Chain is not included but is shown to demonstrate wearability. No hallmarks, this as an antique silver plated item. In estate condition considering age and has been hand polished and cleaned up nicely. One area of plate loss on the underside about the size of a coin where a slightly warmer underlying metal comes through, but it is not the dark brown brass that is often seen so it doesn’t stand out too much. I see a few shallow indentations around the rounded side of the box along with some surface wear and scratches. The hinge is nice and tight and the lid snaps open and closed snugly. Like all my estate items – please note that while the piece is sturdy and has many years of use left, it is not in mint condition. Measures about 2 inches in diameter, the opening is about 1 5/8 inches since it flares out from there into the rounded base. It is about 5/8 of an inch tall / deep. A very decorative AND useful item! Here we have a. Vintage 50’s or 60’s. (or may even be older) VERY. HEAVY pair of perfume bottles. BEAUTIFUL DETAILED GOLD PLATE. ROSES and LEAVES inside BIG HEARTS are on both sides of the stopper and one is inside the amber glass of each perfume! Large ORNATE SCROLLS on the base act as the feet! The sides have the filigree with over 1/4 ORNATE galleries on both sides. The stopper has the same pattern with roses on both sides and filigree too with a BEADED edge all around! The AMBER glass has 1/4 BEVEL all around and is in a curved triangle shape. It is not signed but I believe these to be Stylebuilt as I have had a pair of similar ones to these before. (or possibly Matson) They have the. These companies are known for. 9 1/2″ tall, 6 1/4″ in diameter at the widest part of the body and 2 3/8 deep. There is so much going on with this. Really good condition with no cracks or loss of gold plate. As in so many though the little glass bottles and daubers are missing. They are darker gold plate than the photos show more like the 3/4 view photos. Some discoloration but not bad for something over 50 years old! Addition to your bedroom dresser or bath!
