Vintage Reve D’or by L. Piver Perfume Bottle 1886 France. Reve D’or translates to “Dream of Gold”. Marked “MADE IN FRANCE” on bottom of bottle. Bottle has scrolls on each side. The Large label has two pin nibbles. The label around the neck is perfect but I have not attempted to clean it off for fear of damage occurring. Ball stopper is all glass with a few small nibbles on the bottom of the stopper and another on the lip (see pics). Christie Mayer Lefkowith’s book’The Art of Perfume’ page 106, plate no. VINTAGE RIGAUD EVE REVE EXTRAIT / PARFUM / PERFUME. 1 oz / 30 ml Sealed Bottle. This is a rare old bottle of Rigaud Eve Reve Extrait. The bottle is still sealed and I have taken photos of the neck of the bottle from all sides so you can see that the onion skin seal has not been tampered with. The bottle and stopper are without chips that I detect. The exterior of the box is aged and stained. If the perfume bottle is not sealed, it will be listed as used regardless if used or not. I do my best to secure bottles to prevent leakage however it is possible that perfume may still leak in transit. To avoid false claims that perfumes are not authentic, I state that I do not guarantee contents. Vintage perfumes may have sediment. Stoppers may be difficult to open. I have described the item to the best of my ability but it is possible I missed something. I work full time and do my best to respond to questions promptly.
