Vintage Guerlain Mouchoir De Monsieur Flacon Escargot Snail Glass Perfume. Beautiful, hard-to-find bottle of Guerlain Mouchior de Monieur in the orginal falcon escargot glass bottle. Bottle is around the 1930s-1940s it’s about half full and smells great. The glass dapper looks to have a slight chip (part that goes in the bottle). Created by Jacques Guerlain in 1904. The fragrance was originally created as a wedding gift of a couple of friends, it evoked the Belle Epoque, when it was fashionable to scent handkerchiefs, gloves and veils but especially to the skin. So what does it smell like? It is an aromatic citric fragrance for men. Top notes are lavender, lemon verbena and bergamot; middle notes are tonka bean, patchouli, cinnamon, jasmine, neroli and rose; base notes are iris, amber, civet, vanilla and oak moss. Originally, it was housed inside a beautiful Bottle snail flacon dubbed the Escargot, a flacon designed by Raymond Guerlain, painted in an for some special prefer 24k gold snail motif.
