Offered here for sale, a pretty figural perfume bottle (empty) of Souvenir d’un Soir, made by Mary Chess introduced in 1956. The bottle represents the fountain in front of the Plaza Hotel at Fifth Ave and 59th Street in New York City. This is the larger version, measuring approximately 4.5″ x 4.5″. Excellent condtion, no chips, damages or repairs and has its original hang tag. Photos are part of the description please look carefully. Please look at our other auctions. Rare Souvenir d’Un Soir bottle by Mary Chess. Miniature replica of a famous New York fountain. About 3 1/2 tall. Bottom molded’Mary Chess bottle made in France’. Few tiny imperfections on the statue part of the stopper, or it’s just the way it was molded. Otherwise, very good condition both bottle and stopper. See my other perfume bottles. Vintage Mary Chess “Souvenir d’Un Soir” Perfume Bottle w/Plaza Figural Stopper. This estate find will come to you exacty as we found it — still with some dried residue of the perfume inside the bottom of the bottle. This lovely bottle is frosted glass, 3 1/2 tall. It was designed to replicate a fountain at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Marked on the bottom, both in the glass and also the foil label remains. There is some frayed string near the base of the figure that used to hold a little folded tag. No chips or cracks noted; it does need to be cleaned. We’ll do our best to accomodate you, but may have to choose not to. This is not negotiable. Most of our items come from estates. Our items are almost always pre-owned.
