Vintage Steuben sterling silver overlay perfume bottle measures about 4.25″ in diameter and about 3.5″ tall; and about 6 tall with ground glass stopper. Perfume is shaped like an 8 lobed gourd with intricate vining silver overlay with engraved iris design. There are a few ding to silver overlay on the flange where stopper inserts. Otherwise, the item is in excellent though lightly tarnished condition. See photos for more details.

Steuben Blue Aurene perfume bottle with matching stopper shape or style 1818, signed Aurene 1818, measures 5 1/4 at top of stopper. It’s sort of bell shaped! There is an obvious chip of the Aurene color on the top of the stopper itself. Look at all 12 of the pictures here for best description, because I captured it from every angle. It’s hard to capture this very beautiful and vivid exterior color in normal photographs. I sure tried but it looks way better in person! This bottle is made by Devilbiss Co. The glass bottle is Stueben Gold with Blue Aurene Glass. If you are a collector you know that these bottles are very high quality. Made during the 1920’s This bottle is so captivating and towering in height. The gold hardware has a amber glass acorn jewel at the top. The bottle its self is gold with blue glass… Major color is gold and the blues are thru out but shows more blue on the top and around the foot/ base. This is a clear glass bottle with sterling silver overlay. The bottle measures about 7 inches high with flame stopper and about 4&1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom. The stopper and base have matching etched numbers 613. The perfume bottle is in good used condition. Unfortunately, there is a long crack in the bottle which starts in the middle of bottle travels to the base, along the base and the back up again towards the middle of the bottle again (kind of a U shape crack). Part of the crack is behind the silver overlay especially along the bottom. There are also some small chips at the bottom of the bottle along the crack line. In addition, there are light scratches in the glass and the bottle is sick or cloudy with a light stain throughout the bottle. The stopper is in good condition also with a couple of chips at the bottom edge. The bottle still displays well even with the flaws. See pictures for overall condition. Steuben Glass Perfume Bottle. 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide. The heavy silver overlay decoration is really quite beautiful. It has the typical wear you would expect to see on an antique bottle. A few micro tiny nibbles on the stoppers edge but. No chips or cracks. Very slightly hazy but I haven’t tried to clean the inside. The coppery color to the silver is only a reflection of light. This tall and elegant unmarked Steuben cologne/perfume bottle is a good example of Frederick Carder’s silky Verre de Soie glass. The lustrous rainbow of pastel colors found within the iridescent glass are subtle and delicate, but beautiful. This gracefully designed piece, however, is dramatically topped with a stopper of flaming gold ruby cintra glass, and measures almost 8 inches from base to the top of the stopper. It is cataloged as shape #1414. Except for two small surface dimples, probably done during the creation of the glass, the bottle and stopper are in fine condition, and display very nicely indeed.
