Vintage Perfume Bottle Pumper Textured Glass with Clovers French Cameo. Very nice art nouveau bottle. The wear is consistent with age. Pumper works but I cannot get the lid to screw off. If you attempt to open this piece – DO NOT TWIST THE STEM. I recommend taking this piece to a jeweler if you want to remove the top. Size is approximately 4.5″ tall x 1.75″ round. This listing is for a gorgeous antique English porcelain “bottle vase” shaped perfume or scent bottle with sterling silver top and enameled textured “slip” decoration, late 1800’s. Measures 5″ high with a top diameter of 1/2″ and the maximum width is 3. The bottle features a beautiful textured background with “slip” decorated band of flowers and foliage. Hand enameled with heavy application of aqua, pink and white with gilt embellishment. Made by Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co. Sterling silver screw-on dome shaped lid marked with English hallmarks for “London, Sterling” with date letter “P” for 1890-91 and maker’s initials E. There are a several small no-harm dings on the lid (see photos) – no other noted flaws. This lovely perfume bottle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs to the porcelain body.
