Big and fabulous footed, brass filigree ormolu perfume bottle with beveled amber glass and cornucopia motif. Stopper is a heart with flowers. Measures – 9 1/4 x 6 x 2 1/4 inches, 23.50 x 15.24 x 5.72 cm CONDITION: Gold plating shows wear to the finish. No chips or cracks. Dauber and bottle insert intact. See pictures for details. Here we have a. Vintage 50’s or 60’s. (or may even be older) VERY. HEAVY pair of perfume bottles. BEAUTIFUL DETAILED GOLD PLATE. ROSES and LEAVES inside BIG HEARTS are on both sides of the stopper and one is inside the amber glass of each perfume! Large ORNATE SCROLLS on the base act as the feet! The sides have the filigree with over 1/4 ORNATE galleries on both sides. The stopper has the same pattern with roses on both sides and filigree too with a BEADED edge all around! The AMBER glass has 1/4 BEVEL all around and is in a curved triangle shape. It is not signed but I believe these to be Stylebuilt as I have had a pair of similar ones to these before. (or possibly Matson) They have the. These companies are known for. 9 1/2″ tall, 6 1/4″ in diameter at the widest part of the body and 2 3/8 deep. There is so much going on with this. Really good condition with no cracks or loss of gold plate. As in so many though the little glass bottles and daubers are missing. They are darker gold plate than the photos show more like the 3/4 view photos. Some discoloration but not bad for something over 50 years old! Addition to your bedroom dresser or bath! MAGDA Lubin Paris Perfume Bottle Figural Lady Head Stopper. Magda is a perfume by Lubin for women and was released in 1921. The production was apparently discontinued. Julian Viards most beautiful example being the Lubins Magda with its gilded women’s face forming the stopper. Approximate Dimensions 5 1/2. Dimensions taken at widest points. Condition Good with Age and/or Wear. The base has a chip on one edge, besides that it is in perfect shape. The stopper does not fit in snugly all the way into the bottle.
