This listing is for a Wonderful antique Victorian Sterling silver Chatelaine Bottle that was likely used for Perfume or Smelling Salts, a Vinaigrette etc. The top section has a hook on the back which would have slipped over the waistband of a skirt. When you remove the top of this silver bottle, the sides can flip down and the blue glass bottle inside can be removed -see close images. There is no cork etc. USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report. Sterling silver, Blue Glass. Marked STERLING on the underside of the clip. The Silver bottle holder itself measures about 2 1/16 tall from the top of the silver cap to the bottom of the bottle (not including the hanging rings etc). Measuring from the top of the belt clip section to the bottom of the bottle, it is about 5 11/16 overall length. None, this item has a blue Glass bottle inside. 33.5 grams total. The Blue Glass bottle has no cork stopper etc. The glass has a chip on the upper rim -see close images. The silver has some small dings, dimples, nicks, scratches, scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas. The silver has patina, tarnish and discoloration in areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish (if desired). Please see images tog et a closer look at this items condition.
