Vintage Caron Petit Mimosa Perfume Bottle w a Few Drops Remaining circa 1917
Vintage Caron Petit Mimosa Perfume Bottle w a Few Drops Remaining circa 1917. It was very hard to find any information on this bottle or fragrance. All I can determine is that it was introduced in 1917. Clear glass bottle that is very nice glass. Square shaped bottle with a half inch neck. Neck end of the bottle is squared off but the interior hole is round. Glass stopper is cut so that the top portion, which is a number of small triangles, comes to a point, and point is sharp. There is also some cutting on the bottom of the stopper which adds some complexity to the stopper look. I do not know if the label is paper or metal. Underside of the bottle is polished. Underside of the bottle has no marks other than a backwards 7, which matches the number on the underside of the stopper, so all the pieces and parts match (see photos 6 & 9). There is a very teeny chip on the bottle underside, see photo 8, it is minuscule and is round and probably no longer than 1/16 of an inch. There is still a small portion of perfume, its fragrance is not guaranteed. I will probably place this remainder in a small vial with a screw top so it does not leak out when it is mailed. Dimensions of this bottle are: just under 4 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide. Auctiva offers Free Image Hosting and Editing. Auctiva gets you noticed! Track Page Views With. Auctiva’s FREE Counter.
