This beautiful, classic perfume bottle is for Forvil – La Perle Noire by R. The information regarding this piece was found in the book Lalique Perfume Bottles by Mary Lou and Glenn Utt, page79. The bottle is c. It measures about 4 3/16 in total height. It has a numbered stopper and base. The bottom has the correct, blocked, raised R. The top is a gray bulb with molded “tendrils” x 4. It looks rather like a stone set in prongs – as with a ring. There are two black glass raised dots – one on each side of the bottle. There are frosted “rays” emanating from the black “pearl” on the front of the bottle only. The perfume name and Forvil is molded on the front lower part of the bottle. The stopper is removable from the bottle and there are no chips, cracks or damage at all that I have found. Regarding the fragrance – it is “as found” and I have no idea if it is the original perfume. My guess would be that it is not and there are absolutely no guarantees as to the quality of the fragrance – whatever it may be. It is a beautiful bottle is superb condition. The item “R.
