A most gorgeous vintage 1930’s to 1950’s ormolu vanity set I’ve ever seen. It is really heavy (15 pounds), the highest quality (gilded solid brass) and extremely ornate! The set features an enormous 27″ long mirrored tray, a large picture frame (fits 9″ by 7 photo), two perfume bottles with glass daubers, and a jewelry / powder box. The set has a cherub, ribbon and rose / floral motif, plus fabulous glass inserts. It would make a wonderful gift for girls who love Hollywood Regency design. Age: 1930’s to 1950’s. Material(s): Gilt brass, glass inserts, mirror, velvet backings to the tray and picture frame.
