QUIRKY PERIOD PERFUME BOTTLE BY PREMIER LONDON PARFUMIERS & THE PERFECT GIFT? This item is attached with a substantial belcher type silver chain in the form of a Victorian chatelaine. The item can be worn as a either a chatelaine or the chain is long enough to form a lovely heart shaped pendant. This perfume bottle carries full English hallmarks for London C1991 and the makers mark for Penhaligons. The belcher chain which is stamped 925 is not detachable and the total weight is a substantial 23.25 grams. There is no evidence that the interior has ever contained perfume. Measures 1.5 in length including the screw top and is 1.25 wide. The chain measures 1.5 in length to the hasp and the longer length is 19.0 including the fitted safety clasp. The item has an overall length of 26.0 including the perfume bottle. This item is in vintage condition 1/2. It is in excellent overall condition apart from age related scratching to the large surfaces and the screw top is slightly scratched. The hall marks are all fully visible.
