This is an early 20th-century (1939) sterling silver lidded & glass Art Deco scent bottle. Made by the luxury maker Asprey. The silver gilt screw lid with fine engine-turned texture. Original gilding (gold wash) throughout. A lovely applied/raised gilded monogram DRM to the lid. The original facet cut glass bottle with two-tone frosted and clear glass vertical stripes. An elegant genuine Asprey 80-year-old vintage bottle. HALLMARKS : London , SILVER fineness 925. MAKER Asprey & Co Ltd. DIMENSION : 5.5cm x 4cm (2 1/8″ x 1 1/2″). Height: 10cm (4) approx. WEIGHT : 156g all in (silver lid weighs 29g). CONDITION : Excellent condition with light wear. No dents and no damage to the silver. No damage to the glass. The screw lid closes tight, no leak.
