ANTIQUE DUTCH RUBY RED FLASHED PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE SILVER GILT LID CIRCA 1880. On offer is this finest antique Dutch perfume bottle dating circa 1880 and standing 12.5 cm in height. This cut crystal perfume bottle has sloping panelled shoulders and wavy edged body. The clear crystal body is decorated with ruby red flashed scroll work and cross hatching. The large oval shaped front panel is decorated with a large floral urn and there is a different design on the back panel, as pictured. The bottle is fitted with an unmarked but tested sterling silver lid which has good retained gilt finish. The collar and lid are beautifully engraved with scroll work, foliage and flowers. The bottle retains the clear glass inner stopper. This antique perfume bottle is offered in good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures to the glass body.
