BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1993 ZELLIQUE STUDIO LAMPWORK ART GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE SIGNED. A beautiful piece of contemporary American hand-made studio art glass in the form of a gorgeous little perfume bottle and stopper. It was hand-made by a glass artist at Zellique Studio, which was founded in Benicia, California in the 1980s but is now closed. This piece has been part of my personal collection since the year 1993. It features a single large pink flower blossom, several small white flower blossoms and brown & gray colored vines within crystal or clear colored glass that connect everything together. This is all very skillfully done in the lampwork technique, which is working colored glass canes into the inside of the piece while the glass is in a near molten state. This takes great skill and this artist was a master. The little stopper is also hand-made with a ground & polished top and is ground-in to fit snugly into the perfume bottle. The base of the perfume is scratch signed on the underside with what appears to me to read: Zellique Studio 2177 1993 MH FDK C63. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs and no signs of use. Basically, it looks like new. Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. It is about 2.5 (6.4 cm) left to right by about 1.25 (3.2 cm) front to back and stands about 3.125 (7.9 cm) tall at the top of the stopper. About 6.875 ounces (195 grams). On heavier items I will also offer a less expensive option, if available.
