Antique / Vintage Vinolia Perfume Bottles In Their Original Leather Bound Vinolia Travelling Case. Absolutely stunning Vinolia Set and extremely rare example of the Vinolia Travel Case. Both perfume bottles are glass and are in good antique/vintage condition as the case has protected them. The Labels are all lovely and the stoppers are both present. There are no chips in the bottles or stoppers. One bottle has a little old residue stuck to the glass but this is to be expected and I wouldn’t remove this. One is Lily of the Valley and the other is New Mown Hay which was first introduced as a perfume by Vinolia in 1895. The leather bound case is in antique/vintage condition, it has suffered some fading over the years as it was a rich burgundy shade with gilt picking out the design, which you can still see on one side, the other sides and top are faded and the gilt has worn away. The hinges and clip are still perfectly ok and the inner silk lining is still pretty nice and considering its age I think it’s faded charm is utterly lovely and it’s lucky to have survived at all as most of these cases are long gone now.
