Vintage 24kt Gold Plated Filigree Ormolu Glass Large Ornate Perfume Bottle. I actually have 2 of these bottles that are exactly the same. Very ornate and large perfume bottle. The bottle is footed and has a lovely filigree design to it. The only part of the perfume bottle that is filled with perfume is found in the little glass flask at the end of the glass stopper. It has never had perfume in it from what we can tell. Clear glass is found on both sides of the perfume bottle. In the center at the bottom through the glass is a rose and a pretty filigree area at the top where the reserve or flask fits into. Surrounding the glass is a pretty design of leaves and at the top is a rose. The same pattern that is found on the front is also found on the back. Between the 2 glass openings is a pretty filigree design. The stopper on the top features leaves and a rose on the top. The pattern is only found on one side though. The stopper screws into the bottom. As stated, the bottom of the stopper has a glass reserve or flask to hold the perfume. The glass reserve comes out but is a bit loose and there is some wear to the end of the glass where it fits into the stopper. The perfume bottle is large and heavy. Quite solid and fragile. It measures about 11″ tall with the stopper in it by about 5 1/2″ wide across the glass. The depth of the bottle is about 2 1/2 wide. The stopper measures about 7″ long by about 3″ wide at the top. It is an older perfume bottle. We did not clean it because everyone has a different style or look they are trying to get. I bet when it is cleaned it will shine ever so nicely. We did clean the glass and will leave the polishing to you. We did not see any major damage on the bottle. There is a little wear noted here and there but for its age, it is overall in nice shape. A gorgeous large perfume bottle to display on your vanity or dresser. Also, makes a lovely gift to someone special. Most of our items are donated and are vintage in nature.
