Glows under UV light. Scarce style of antique perfume bottle made in Czechoslovakia. These original cut glass bottles were only made between 1918 and 1938 in Czechoslovakia before World War II and before it became the Czech Republic. Czechoslovakia was home to many quality glass factories which were siezed when Hitler invaded that country and all production stopped. The original’s are getting harder to find. It is hard to find undamaged versions of this style of bottle because of the pointed parts that are commonly broken. This one has one tip missing The dauber is also missing. It has a beautiful intaglio carved stopper on a pedestal base. The stopper and base are green with the perfume well being clear cut glass. It is about 5 inches tall.
