Vintage Set of Two Mini Pompadour Austrian Brass Filigree Petit Point Perfume Bottles. These little bottles became popular mid century and were made by a company called Pompadour who were in Austria. Produced using viennese handicraft methods the bottles were made from glossy gold gilt and had petit point fronts. The top unscrews and there is a glass dabber inside. The petit point embroidery depicts a pink rose with green leaves on a black background. The other petit point is purple flowers with green leaves on an ivory background. Both have been used. The rose has liquid remaining. The violet is empty. You can fill them with a funnel with your choice of perfume or oil and are a beautiful a set of vintage boudoir bottles. In good vintage condition. Small signs of age and use around brass foil. No cracks, pits or chips. All breakable products are protectively wrapped in paper, bubble wrap and/or cling wrap and double boxed.
