Vintage Rare 5 Fleurs by Forvil Perfume Bottle Paris France 1926. Unable to find any information on this bottle online. This beautiful glass bottle could POSSIBLY be Lalique/Baccarat but I have no way to confirm. It has a glass outer stopper as well as a glass inner stopper. Inner stopper is stuck. There is a tiny chip on the inner stopper (see pics). It is about 1/3 full of perfume. Size is approximately 3.5″ tall x 1.25″ square. Please see pics for additional details and description. This beautiful, classic perfume bottle is for Forvil – La Perle Noire by R. The information regarding this piece was found in the book Lalique Perfume Bottles by Mary Lou and Glenn Utt, page79. The bottle is c. It measures about 4 3/16 in total height. It has a numbered stopper and base. The bottom has the correct, blocked, raised R. The top is a gray bulb with molded “tendrils” x 4. It looks rather like a stone set in prongs – as with a ring. There are two black glass raised dots – one on each side of the bottle. There are frosted “rays” emanating from the black “pearl” on the front of the bottle only. The perfume name and Forvil is molded on the front lower part of the bottle. The stopper is removable from the bottle and there are no chips, cracks or damage at all that I have found. Regarding the fragrance – it is “as found” and I have no idea if it is the original perfume. My guess would be that it is not and there are absolutely no guarantees as to the quality of the fragrance – whatever it may be. It is a beautiful bottle is superb condition. The item “R. For your consideration, we are offering a wonderfully early and quite rare, Rene Lalique, bottle for FORVIL RELIEF perfume. Dimensions are approximately 6 1/8″ in width, by 6.75″ in height with the stopper in place, 6 5/8″ to the neck top and 1.50″ in depth. The bottle is a creation of Rene Lalique, circa 1924. The contents have long ago evaporated and left somewhat of an iridescent shean inside the flacon, at the evaporative point near the shoulders of the bottle. The stopper is intact and remains snuggly inside the bottle. Although in the right hands and with correct care, we believe the stopper could be freed, we have not attempted to do so. Some seal cording remains around the bottle neck, that said, we cannot specify how much and whether or not the bottle had ever been opened and the stopper removed. We presume it was opened. We have found no damages on the bottle body. There are no chips or cracks or rubs that we have been able to identify. There is one small nip on the rim of the stopper, found under magnification, not readily seen with the naked eye and doing nothing to effect the shape or appearance of the stopper. We have carefully looked over the bottle for faults and are confident that the above noted nip is the only one, but could have missed some tiny imperfection somewhere. There are a few bubbles in the glass, as a result of creation. As a bit of soil and dust is present, the bottle would likely benefit from a gentle cleaning. Once opened, the interior iridescent shean may perhaps be removed with denture cleanser, or other cleaning agent. Around the neck of the bottle, on one side are the remnants of either a golden label of some sort, or perhaps golden residue from a golden cord seal. The flacon is embossed on it’s bottom with R. The number 862 is etched into the glass. There are no other labels present. What a fantastic addition to your Lalique, vintage perfume or bottle collection. Lalique art glass perfume bottle with matching stopper. It’s Relief for Forvil circa 1920s. The bottom is stamped R. LALIQUE” The bottle is quite big measuring 6 3/4″ tall by 5 1/2 wide. It still has a wonderful smell of perfume. There is a 2 stress crack starting from the lip running down the shoulder. The dauber rim has a very small impact with no loss of glass.
