A most gorgeous vintage 1930’s to 1950’s ormolu vanity set I’ve ever seen. It is really heavy (15 pounds), the highest quality (gilded solid brass) and extremely ornate! The set features an enormous 27″ long mirrored tray, a large picture frame (fits 9″ by 7 photo), two perfume bottles with glass daubers, and a jewelry / powder box. The set has a cherub, ribbon and rose / floral motif, plus fabulous glass inserts. It would make a wonderful gift for girls who love Hollywood Regency design. Age: 1930’s to 1950’s. Material(s): Gilt brass, glass inserts, mirror, velvet backings to the tray and picture frame. Size: Tray- 27″ long by 17″ wide, Picture Frame- 15″ tall by 13″ wide, Perfume Bottles- 9″ tall, Jewelry Case- 4-1/2″ diameter. Brand / Hallmarks: Unsigned. A vintage ormolu vanity set comprised of two perfume bottles with beveled glass, vials and dabblers, cherub motif. Matching photo frame with replaced easel back. Wind-up Linden Black Forest clock, made in West Germany. Photo frame – 11 1/4″ W x 13 1/2″ H, sight – 7 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. Linden clock – 5 1/2″ x 6″ H. Perfume bottles – 6″ W x 9″ H. Condition: the clock runs fast, the back is replaced on the frame. The back foot on the clock is slightly bent shown in photo. Overall good condition with light wear consistent with age and use. 4 Pieces of ornate vintage ormolu. All are in is found condition with areas of verdigris as shown- they have not been cleaned. Acquired together- but the casket is a different floral pattern and the glass has a more yellow hue. 4 3/4 tall, wide and deep. The pillow base is loose- still usable, but it is no longer glued to frame. Perfume bottles present well; each measures approx. 8 3/4″ tall x 2 1/2″ deep X 6 wide. There is only one glass dauber and it is broken but will be included. Frame has tape repair on the back but stands upright just fine; measures approx. All pieces have been packed in individual boxes which will then be placed in a large box to ensure safe arrival. This set is very heavy. Please use the zoom feature on all photos to make your own. Vintage & pre-loved items in almost all instances will show some sort of wear or age & it’s important to set expectations accordingly. This is an old antique hard to find DeVilbiss stunning S frame atomizer bottle from estate. It is 6″ tall with a 2″ by 2 3/8 gold gilt base. It features an amber glass bottle. The base has wear on gold tone is the only thing I see to note. The gold tone looks nice on the stem. The bulb looks original and I have not squeezed it but I would think the rubber would be hard due to its age. This is stunning in person and in good condition.
