One of the finest condition of these we’ve seen in ages, with the high gilded alloy ormolu still bright, the mirror still very nice (deep beveled glass) and both perfume or scent bottles intact with their original stoppers – mother of pearl shell scalloped to perfection and shimmering a rainbow of pearlescent appeal. These trinkets are mid-Victorian, or in France, from the Napoleon III era c. The measurements can be found on photos. Very good to excellent for age and type, this is an exceptionally fine scent caddy, trinket stand. The natural mother of pearl shell retains its fine pearlescent shimmer of color, ranging pinks to green (best), and there are no breaks, cracks, chips. An unusual scalloped upper rim adds appeal. Mirror is remarkably unscathed by time, the old original with deep heavy beveled glass – original. Scent bottles are 1 diameters and fit perfectly, as do their original faceted stoppers. Palais Royal French Kingwood Three Scent Perfume Bottle Casket 19th Century. Beautiful casket veneered with kingwood and inlaid with fruitwood and mother of pearl. Silk lined lid and the three scent bottles are exquisite with gilt ormolu mounts and hand painted lids depicting flowers. On the base is a 20th C retail label and some felt pads. One internal glass stopper is missing and the card interior on one bottle slip is missing also there are some small tears in the silk of the lid where the bottle lids touch. I note these defects for completeness. These minor defects do not in any way detract from the beauty and desirability of this item. The three scent bottles and ormolu mounts are in perfect condition. Red glass and well decorated with Dore bronze mounted perfume bottle. The bottle is square with ruby red in. And clear on corners. And it has smooth bottom. It can catches the sunny light with amazing shine. This type of bottle is one of the most rare , elegant & beautiful bottle a have ever. It looks very old probably made around 19th. Sorry not really sure about age. Excellent for home or office décor or great addition to your collection… Measure 7.1/8 inches high with stopper and 5 inches high with out stopper. By 2.1/2 wide by 2.1/2 Deep. Weight 1.7 OZ. I think I can hold about 10 Oz of any liquid. This beauty is very old with great vintage condition, shown of wear. No cracks or any big damage , I discovered a very tiny chip on bottom. And small scratch and small stein residues inside which you can see. Them with very good inspection. Otherwise it’s looks a majestic art piece. The item will be re-listed. No extension will be granted unless. Actual weight and side or distance of the item.
