Vintage perfume bottle w/lucite stand. Gri Gri by Weil. Bottle and glass stopper are without flaw. Sealed w/2 pairs of cords connecting to seal. A cord on the bottom hangs free, but doesn’t impact the seal. The stopper is scalloped with the Weil’W’ on top. The silver foil label is very rough. The first’Gri’ is legible, but the second’Gri’ is worn away. The bottle is not stuck in the clear lucite stand, despite some old glue in the seat. (See photos for specifics). 3″ tall x 1.25″ diameter at widest. Part of a huge collection, most of which has been. Stored for over 20 years. It includes all sizes of perfume bottles, sets, solids, factice/display bottles, powders, compacts, sachets. Authentic perfume labels (not digital). Many items are rare. A lovely trio of solid silver topped, hinged, cut glass perfume bottles in a solid silver stand. All 3 bottles and the stand bear the makers marks for John Grinsell & Sons and the hallmarks for Birmingham 1904. One small dint to one bottle top. Everything else looks perfect. All the glass stoppers are present. Glass is in excellent condition. Very unusual to find pieces like this. Over a century or so one part usually becomes broken, damaged or lost. One of the finest condition of these we’ve seen in ages, with the high gilded alloy ormolu still bright, the mirror still very nice (deep beveled glass) and both perfume or scent bottles intact with their original stoppers – mother of pearl shell scalloped to perfection and shimmering a rainbow of pearlescent appeal. These trinkets are mid-Victorian, or in France, from the Napoleon III era c. The measurements can be found on photos. Very good to excellent for age and type, this is an exceptionally fine scent caddy, trinket stand. The natural mother of pearl shell retains its fine pearlescent shimmer of color, ranging pinks to green (best), and there are no breaks, cracks, chips. An unusual scalloped upper rim adds appeal. Mirror is remarkably unscathed by time, the old original with deep heavy beveled glass – original. Scent bottles are 1 diameters and fit perfectly, as do their original faceted stoppers. Beautiful Rare 1939 Salut de Schiaparelli perfume bottle with original box and perfume still in bottle. Box measures 3 3/4″ Tall, 5″ Wide 3 3/4″ Deep, Bottle with stand measures 3″ X 4″ X 2 1/2″. I do not believe the bottle has ever been removed from the stand, it still has the cotton thread holding it in the flower stand. There is a small chip under one of the leaves on the stand, but you cannot see it from the front, it is minor, and could possibly be repaired. It does not effect the beautiful look of this bottle and stand, it is stunning. Signed Made in France on bottom of stand. I have never seen one of these bottles complete with stand and box, it is very, very rare. PERFUME BOTTLE TRINKET CASKET BOX & STAND. This is a very unique and hard to find piece. It has a lovely style which dates back to approx the Late 19th Century. It has the Casket Trinket Box, with a small Mirror attached, and on each side it has the holders for the 2 perfume bottles. Each bottle is made of glass with a stopper, however one bottle is missing the stopper but they are both in good condition with no chips or breaks Bottles are removable and could be replaced. The mirror does show wear on the left side (see pictures). The stand overall is in very nice vintage condition and would look wonderful displayed on a vanity. 7 1/2″ Tall X 6 1/4″ W at the center where the perfume bottles inset. Casket box is approx 3″ wide & 2″ deep and has the a red pillow inside as most of these caskets boxes have. I don’t see any other damage and also do not see any makers mark. Comes from a friends Estate and a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection! Pictures are part of the description. Please examine them carefully.
